Welcome, I am a second year teacher at Baker High School in Baldwinsville. Harrison is the professor of our EDU 506 course that taught us a variety of computer skills.  Initially, when I signed up for this class I was not sure what to expect in terms of how much technology we were going to get into.  For my age, I do not consider myself to be that good with computers and the different programs they offer.  For example, prior to this class I some how managed to get through college without ever having to create a power point presentation.  So one of the things I did learn from this class was how to create a power point presentation.  I figured it would be pretty self evident  in terms of what buttons to push, but what I really liked was the discussion of  spacing, color and timing tips that will really be useful in creating an easy to read and easy to understand presentation.  On the other hand, I would have liked to spend more time on the spread sheet to really master more of the functions.  The spread sheet is a tool that I really feel could be more beneficial if I knew the in’s and out’s better.
